New Chapter
Life is for ever changing, nothing stays the same,
whether its good or bad.
It's difficult when you have mixed emotions
and for me this picture put things in perspective.
My friend Maureen has been thinking about moving to P.E.I
for the longest time.
And now finally after years of having this amazing plan,
it has come to fruition.
Yesterday was the last day in her home, she has been there for
many, many years.
I wish her all the luck in the world,
I hope she can focus on herself
and take every adventure that comes her way.
She deserves everything she gets in life and much, much more.

Battle Grounds
So, I tried axe throwing for the first time in my life.
It was 'Outreach Week' at work and since we are
Outreach Workers we decided to celebrate by throwing axes. 😀
I have to say I was skeptical about the whole 'axe throwing' idea
BUT
I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it way too much.
We went to a place called Batl.
This is my co-worker and me competing against each other.
This is my boss trying on the right along with
staff from Batl, we had a quick session and strict rules.
This is me, almost got a bulls eye here.
I must have done something right,
I came in second.
I would definitely do this again.

Honeysuckle
This past weekend was Father's Day,
I lost my father 5 years ago and I'm still having a difficult time.
This year was no different, I managed to stay off social media,
I didn't want to be exposed to any pain.
Honeysuckle is a happy memory of my father.
As I drove up to my parents home, parked the car and
walked to the door, the sweet smell of Honeysuckle surrounded me.
It was calming, it was home, it was a happy place, a happy memory.
I miss him...which is why I plant this beautiful vine every year.
Here's to Fathers Day

They're Back
The Eagles are back at the same spot.
I so need to invest in a new lense for shots like these.
Here is, from what I gather, the male sharing food with the female.
Maybe he's courting her, I have to say this is facinating.
