My Fireplace

This is the final stage of my home decorating. 

My makeshift fireplace looked like this....

...with a bit of a white wash, shabby chic kind of look.

So my friend, Maureen, said to add a little coral to the corners and edges, 

so I did as I was told.

And then paint it BLACK, so I did. 

Now I was told to sand the edges lightly to bring out the coral, 

but I haven't made up my mind about that yet. 

So this is the end result, for now. 

And everything is back in it's place. 

Lastly, all dressed up for Christmas
